The Vila Olímpica clinic is inside Nova Icària Esport & Fit, at 167 Avinguda d’Icària, in the Sant Martí district. It is a consultation room within the sports centre, accessed through reception: you do not need to be a Nova Icària member to attend.
Eva Domínguez, a registered dietitian-nutritionist, sees clients here. The first appointment lasts 45 minutes and starts with what brings you in: your goal, medical history, any medication, work and training schedules, and what you have already tried. From there, you receive guidance for the following week and a follow-up appointment date, either in person or by video call.
Many people who train use this clinic. It is between Port Olímpic, Ciutadella Park and the beaches of Nova Icària and Bogatell, in an area where many people run, swim or cycle before or after work. That shapes the questions: when to eat around training, how to recover and what to take with you. Nearby are Mercat del Poblenou, Mercat de la Unió and the shops along Rambla del Poblenou, as well as plenty of restaurants and takeaway food: lots of real-life options for working on meals away from home, which are often the tricky part. The coastal route and tram also make it close to Diagonal Mar, el Besòs i el Maresme, el Clot, Fort Pienc, la Barceloneta and Sant Adrià de Besòs.

By metro, tram, bus or bicycle. The most convenient stops are Ciutadella | Vila Olímpica and Bogatell on L4, and Marina on L1. The tram runs along the Wellington corridor, and buses on Avinguda d’Icària connect to the city centre and Sant Martí. Cycle lanes and Bicing stations make the clinic easy to reach from Poblenou and the seafront.
There is regulated parking and paid private car parks in the area. There is no free parking space associated with the clinic. If driving makes it difficult to attend, many follow-up appointments can take place by video call without changing practitioner.
