Cookie Policy
Last updated: 3 October 2026.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small files that a website stores in your browser to remember information about your visit. Some are needed for the website to work; others are used, for example, to find out how many people visit it. This policy explains which cookies www.alimmenta.com, run by ALIMMENTA TU VIDA, S.L., uses and how you can accept them, reject them or change your mind, in accordance with Article 22.2 of Spanish Law 34/2002 (LSSI) and the Spanish Data Protection Agency’s guide on the use of cookies.
2. Which cookies we use
2.1. Technical cookies (always active)
These do not need your consent because without them the website cannot work or cannot remember your choice.
| Cookie | Set by | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| moove_gdpr_popup | Alimmenta (first party) | Remembers whether you accepted or rejected analytics cookies, so we do not ask you on every page. | 1 year |
| wordpress_*, wordpress_logged_in_*, wp-settings-* | Alimmenta (first party) | Only for Alimmenta staff when they log in to manage the website. Visitors do not receive them. | Session or up to 1 year |
| Security cookie from the hosting anti-bot system (the name varies depending on the challenge) | SiteGround Spain, S.L. (hosting provider), on our domain | Protects the website from malicious bots, brute-force attempts and abuse of forms. It may be set when the hosting security system considers it necessary to check that the visitor is a person, and may store a temporary identifier to avoid repeating that check on every page. | Session or up to 30 days |
We consider the security cookie to be technical and necessary for the security of the service you request; this is why we do not ask for your consent before it is set, in accordance with Article 22.2 of the LSSI. Separately, the technical data it generates is processed on the basis of our legitimate interest in the security of the site (Article 6.1.f of the General Data Protection Regulation, RGPD). We do not use it for analytics, profiling or advertising.
2.2. Analytics cookies (only if you accept them)
We use Google Analytics, through Google Tag Manager, to understand in aggregate how many people visit the website and which pages they find useful. These cookies are only stored if you accept them.
| Cookie | Set by | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| _ga | Google Ireland Limited (Google Analytics), on our domain | Anonymously distinguishes one browser from another to count visits. | 2 years |
| _ga_<identificador> | Google Ireland Limited (Google Analytics), on our domain | Keeps the state of the visit (session) for statistics. | 2 years |
If you do not accept them: no analytics cookie is stored. We use Google’s “consent mode”: until you accept, Google only receives cookieless pings (that the page was visited), which cannot recognise you between visits and which Google uses to estimate the number of visits.
Cookie-free counting: to know how many pages are viewed in total, we also use Koko Analytics, which stores aggregated counts on our own server, and Cloudflare Web Analytics (Cloudflare, Inc., as data processor), which counts visits and measures loading speed in aggregate. Neither of them sets cookies or stores anything on your device, and they do not identify you or track your browsing across visits.
Google may process Google Analytics data in the United States. Google LLC participates in the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. More information in Google’s privacy policy and in how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
Anonymous click counter: we count how many times the appointment booking buttons, phone number, email and maps are clicked, and how many forms are submitted. This is an hourly count that does not store data that identifies you and does not use cookies or storage in your browser.
2.3. YouTube videos (only if you press “play”)
Some pages include videos from our YouTube channel. The video does not load until you press “play”. When you do, YouTube (Google) may store its own cookies or data in your browser, under its privacy policy. If you do not want this, do not play the video, or watch it directly on YouTube.
2.4. Doctoralia calendar (only if you open the calendar)
To book an appointment, some pages let you choose the professional and see her available times in a window with the Doctoralia calendar, the booking platform we use. The calendar does not load until you press “View availability” or choose a professional. When you do, Doctoralia may store its own cookies or data in your browser (for the session, for analysing use of the calendar and for error monitoring) and process the data you enter to book, under its privacy policy. If you do not want this, do not open the calendar and book by phone or through our contact page.
2.5. We do not use advertising cookies
This website currently does not use advertising or social media cookies, except those Doctoralia may use inside its calendar if you choose to open it (section 2.4). If we ever use them, we will first ask for your consent in a separate category and update this policy.
3. How to accept, reject or change your mind
The first time you visit the website we show you a notice with three buttons: Accept, Reject and Settings. Rejecting is as easy as accepting, and you can browse the same way in both cases.
You can change your choice or withdraw your consent at any time using the “Cookie settings” link in the footer of every page or the Change my cookie preferences link on this page. We keep your choice for 1 year; after that we will ask you again.
You can also delete or block cookies in your browser:
If you block all cookies, the website may not remember your choice and may show you the notice again.
4. More information
