You are never seen by one person alone

Cases are discussed in clinical sessions with the other dietitian-nutritionists, psychology and endocrinology. If your case needs it, coordination happens within the clinic.

100% recomanable

The clinic and the neighbourhood

This is the Via Augusta clinic

Alimmenta’s main clinic is at Via Augusta, 29, on the sixth floor, a short walk from Plaça de Gal·la Placídia, where Gràcia and Sant Gervasi meet. It is our largest team location: Juana Mª González, technical director and dietitian-nutritionist; Cristina Lafuente and Laia Gómez, dietitian-nutritionists; and Maria José Moreno, clinical psychologist, see clients here when support with their relationship with food is also needed.

The first appointment lasts 45 minutes and takes place in a private consultation room. We discuss the reason for your visit, your medical history, medication, your actual weekly schedule and, if you bring them, test results and reports from your doctor. You leave with practical guidance for the coming days and your next appointment arranged, either in person or by video call, with the same practitioner.

As the clinic is above Gràcia FGC station, many people travel here from outside Barcelona: Sant Cugat, Rubí, Terrassa and Sabadell have direct train connections, so there is no need to drive into the city. The Mercat de la Llibertat and Mercat de Galvany are nearby, providing a real-life setting for putting the guidance into practice: weekly shopping, what to take to work and how to choose when eating out. Within Barcelona, the clinic is convenient from Vallcarca, la Salut, Sarrià, la Bonanova, les Corts and l’Eixample.

Healthcare centre registered in the Catalan Register of healthcare centres, services and establishments under code E08957632.

Questions about this clinic

What people ask us most before coming in.

Vía Augusta, 29, 6.ºOpen in Google Maps →
Where can I park near the Via Augusta clinic?

We do not have our own parking. There is a paid Saba Bamsa car park beneath Plaça de Gal·la Placídia, and parking in the surrounding streets is regulated. If you are driving, check Barcelona’s low-emission zone restrictions and parking rates in advance. For most people, the train is more convenient: Gràcia FGC station is beneath the same square.

How do I get there by public transport?

Gràcia FGC station, beneath Gal·la Placídia, connects to the urban L6 and L7 lines and the Vallès S1 and S2 services. You can also come from Fontana or Diagonal, or take buses along Via Augusta, Travessera de Gràcia and Balmes. These connections make it possible to travel from Sarrià, Sant Cugat, Rubí, Terrassa or Sabadell without a car.

Who will see me at this clinic?

The Via Augusta team includes Juana Mª González, technical director and dietitian-nutritionist (registration CAT000921); Cristina Lafuente, dietitian-nutritionist (registration CAT000257); Laia Gómez, dietitian-nutritionist (registration CAT000523); and Maria José Moreno, clinical psychologist (registration 19.461). You can choose a practitioner when booking; if you are unsure, tell us about your needs and we will guide you.

What are the clinic hours, and how do I book?

The clinic is open Monday to Friday, 9:00 to 20:00, by appointment only. You can book on this page or call +34 932 18 95 32. If you have recent test results, medical reports or a list of your medication, bring them or send them beforehand so we can make good use of the appointment.

Can I use my health insurance?

Yes. We have agreements with Adeslas, Sanitas, Asisa, DKV, Mapfre and AXA, among other insurers; details of each agreed rate are shown above. This is not a reimbursement arrangement: you do not pay the full appointment fee and claim it back later. The agreed rate applies directly, including to appointment bundles. Tell us which policy you have when booking.

Can I alternate between in-person and online appointments?

Yes, many people do. You can start here and continue by video call, or the other way around, without changing practitioner or repeating your medical history: the plan and follow-up remain the same. You can choose the format for each appointment to suit your plans that week.
