Hi, I’m Irene

Helping people with diabetes through nutrition and technology is my path. As a dietitian-nutritionist with a hybrid skill set, I bring a perspective that connects health and business strategy.

My goal is to use technology not as a barrier, but as a bridge to make healthcare more human and accessible

My collaboration with Alimmenta Empresas began with managing an online session project across several countries and has since expanded to a variety of tasks, giving me the opportunity to grow. My main focus today is TechDiabetes, a project that brings together two of my greatest passions: diabetes education and new technologies.

I consider myself Italo-Venezuelan; I grew up between the energy of Caracas and the peaceful countryside of Veneto, Italy. Growing up between two such different worlds, city and countryside, gave me a broad perspective. This contrast has shaped the way I work: I always seek innovation (like in the city) while keeping sight of what is practical and essential (like in the countryside). I have lived in several countries and, after a period in vibrant Barcelona, I now enjoy rural life in Italy, learning to grow and harvest food. This enriches my perspective on food.
