Who this recipe is for

- Add the pine nuts and brewer’s yeast.
- Dress with the olive oil and serve at room temperature.
Adaptations
How to change it depending on the day. Each change keeps the dish, it does not replace it.
Nausea or sensitivity to smells
Cook the pasta the day before and assemble the dish cold: there is no need to turn anything on.
Mouth sores or dry mouth
If you have mouth sores, leave out the tomato and olives, as they are acidic and salty, and chop the egg and pasta very finely.
Poor appetite
Serve half a portion on a dessert plate, with an extra tablespoon of oil and ground nuts.
Diarrhoea
Use white pasta and leave out the pine nuts and tomato.
Constipation
Use wholegrain pasta.
What it provides
A complete dish: carbohydrates from the pasta, protein from the tuna and egg, and healthy fats from the oil and pine nuts. The brewer’s yeast adds B vitamins.
The dietitian's tip
The brewer’s yeast goes unnoticed in the dressing and adds vitamins and minerals without changing the flavour. Covered, the salad keeps in the fridge for two days.
This is part of the weekly menu for people with cancer. Also from the same menu: mixed salad and avocado and fresh cheese sandwich.
What a recipe is not
This recipe fits into a plan; it does not replace one. It cures nothing and it is not calculated for one particular person: the quantities are indicative and will need adjusting to your case.
If you have a medical condition, take medication or follow a prescribed diet, check with your doctor or your dietitian before changing anything.
