Immersive experiences in nutrition education: Nutrivision VR
The challenge
Developing immersive experiences in nutrition education that could convey healthy eating concepts in an innovative, understandable and memorable way, moving beyond traditional outreach formats and enabling learning through experience.
The solution
At Alimmenta we took part in the design of the Nutrivision VR project, contributing expert nutrition and education judgement to define the content and pedagogical approach of the experience.
The project included:

Defining the nutritional content to be conveyed through the immersive experience, ensuring scientific rigour and message consistency.

Translating nutritional knowledge into an experiential, interactive format adapted for use with virtual reality technology.

Collaborating with the technical team, contributing the nutrition and education perspective without being involved in the technology development.

Designing an outreach experience aimed at making key messages about healthy eating easier to understand and remember.
The result
An innovative immersive nutrition education experience, making it possible to learn about healthy eating in an engaging, participative way.
The project helped strengthen new approaches to nutrition outreach, demonstrating the potential of immersive experiences as an educational tool in the field of health and nutrition.
