Cardiovascular health training for pharmacists
The challenge
Designing cardiovascular health training for pharmacists to update and strengthen their knowledge of nutrition and cardiovascular prevention, helping them correctly convey health messages to patients from the pharmacy, with a rigorous, practical approach aligned with the scientific evidence.

The solution
At Alimmenta we designed and delivered a cardiovascular health training programme for pharmacists, tailored to their role as local healthcare professionals and the needs of their daily practice.
The programme included:
-
Specialist training sessions on nutrition and cardiovascular health, with an approach applied to the community pharmacy setting.
-
Updated scientific content, aimed at strengthening the pharmacist’s role in promoting healthy habits and cardiovascular prevention.
-
Supporting materials designed to serve as a reference and help convey messages correctly to patients.
-
A practical, participative approach, aimed at answering common questions and helping put the knowledge gained into practice.
The result
Pharmacists with stronger training in cardiovascular health, able to offer rigorous, consistent nutritional information to patients from the pharmacy.
The programme helped reinforce the pharmacist’s role as a key agent in promoting cardiovascular health, improving the quality of nutritional advice and health education in the community setting.
