Children’s nutrition education programmes: the healthy breakfast for children

The solution

At Alimmenta we designed and helped develop interactive children’s nutrition education days focused on the importance of a healthy breakfast, as part of the Objetivo Bienestar programme.

The initiative included:

  • Educational activities and participative games aimed at conveying key concepts about food and a healthy breakfast in a fun way.

  • Outreach content adapted for a children’s audience, using accessible, understandable language.

  • Involving families and carers, reinforcing the role of the home environment in adopting healthy eating habits.

  • An experiential approach, designed to learn by doing and help the messages sink in.

The result

Children and families with a greater understanding of the importance of a healthy breakfast, and with more tools to build balanced eating habits from childhood.

The programme helped reinforce children’s nutrition education and promote healthy lifestyles from an early age, in line with health prevention and promotion goals.
