I hold a degree in Medicine and Surgery from Miguel Hernández University of Elche. After completing the MIR, I secured a residency position in Endocrinology and Nutrition at Hospital del Mar in Barcelona, where I learned to treat the main health conditions in my specialty: thyroid and parathyroid disorders, morbid obesity, lipid disorders, high blood pressure and cardiovascular risk, diabetes mellitus, osteoporosis and other hormonal disorders (adrenal glands, pituitary gland, polycystic ovary syndrome, etc.), as well as endocrine conditions during pregnancy…
I believe health education is an essential tool for improving my patients’ health, especially in the area of nutrition
During my training, I became particularly interested in obesity, diabetes and thyroid diseases. I have carried out research in these areas, presented at conferences and published nationally and internationally. I have also devoted time to teaching, collaborating as a lecturer with several universities, private organisations and non-profit associations.
I believe health education is an essential tool for improving my patients’ health, especially in the area of nutrition. At Alimmenta, I have found colleagues who share my goals and interests, enabling us to provide the best care for my patients through teamwork.
